Brian Mason has always strived to perfect his creations of photography and art. Born in Los Angeles in 1960, the son of BBDO Art Director Phillip Miles Mason, Brian has made Huntington Beach, California his home. It has been his base throughout his formative years and his early years as a photographer.
A multitude of journeys through East Africa, France, England, Canada, Central America, and Denmark has provided Brian with an international flair to his photography. Creating images begins with subject, meaning and composition. Once established, Brian uses creativity and technical skills to give each image its own feeling and appearance.
Brian’s manipulation of focal point, colors and light and dark areas of each image are critical to the final print. The importance of the main subject of each image can only be overshadowed by the desire of the viewer to be within the image itself.
