France and now
resides in the
United States.
The artist was born on May 16, 1935. His father, also an artist, taught
him how to paint as a child. LaTour’s father was a very traditional
artist who painted in an academic style. Consequently, LaTour’s training
as a child was very fundamental to his development as an artist.
As LaTour grew and developed as an artist, he created his own
