Below is a sampling of the Original Drawings, Serigraphs, Lithographs, and Sericels we have in inventory. Disney art and cells are no longer available through any venue outside of the theme parks, and even there, the availability is limited. Once these beautifully charming pieces have sold, we will no longer be able to acquire more. Any Disney collector will be glad they had the chance to view our collection, which is still sizeable at this time.

On December 5th, 1901, Walter Elias Disney was born to Elias Disney and Flora Call Disney in Chicago, Illinois. Walt was the third of five children, with three brothers and a sister. In 1918, Walt joined the Red Cross as a member of the American Ambulance Corps in France for a year. When Walt returned to the US, he got a job for fifty dollars a month at Posmna-Rubin Commercial Art Studio. He began to pursue his love for art and photography by starting his own company called Laugh-O-Grams. Unfortunately, though, it fell bankrupt a few years later. In 1923, after resigning to bankruptcy, Walt decided to pack his things and move to Hollywood to start a new life. In late 1923, Walt and his brother Roy signed a contract with M.J. Winkler, a New York cartoon distributor, and they rented a room at the back of real estate office. Walt did the animation, while Roy operated a camera and two girls inked and painted the celluloids. In 1924, the first Alice Comedy reached theaters. After the success of the Alice Comedies, Walt was recognized as a successful Hollywood figure. Walt wed one of his employees, Lillian Bounds, on July 13th, 1925. They eventually had two daughters, Diane and Sharon. Walt Disney Studio was opened in February 1926, where they produced the first color cartoon, Flowers and Trees which won him his first of many Academy Awards. Walt Disney Studio pioneered many firsts in the animation business. Not only were they the founders of the first color cartoon, but also the first full-length animated film. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was released in December 1937, grossing close to $1,500,000. It is still considered one of the great masterpieces in the animated industry. After the success of Snow White, Walt Disney Studio produced other full-length animated films, such as Dumbo, Fantasia, Bambi, and Pinocchio. By 1953, Walt Disney had already made many successful movies and cartoons. During 1954, Walt also became a television pioneer when Disney began production on television cuts. Walt Disney Studio was the first to offer full-color programming with the Wonderful World of Color in 1961. Walt Disney was already a household name throughout the country by the time his visions turned to an amusement park. On July 17th, 1955, after being stalled repeatedly, Disneyland opened to invitation only guests. The idea of a safe, clean amusement park was a success with over one million people having visited Disneyland within the first seven weeks of its opening. Disneyland would be the first and only amusement park Walt would see finished before his death in 1966. In late 1966, after many surgeries and a great deal of suffering, Walt Disney passed away. Walt Disney was the emperor of a great empire that is known throughout the world to bring joy to many people, no matter what their age. Walt Disney is a legend; a folk hero of the 20th century. His worldwide popularity was based upon the ideals which his name represents: imagination, optimism, creation, and self-made success in the American tradition. He brought us closer to the future, while telling us of the past.
